Youth United in Sport! was a multi-activity project designed to show how important the role of sport plays in the lives of young people. Using different sport disciplines we intended to bring together people of different ethnicities, languages and various nationalities. The project consisted of 2 activities: The first activity was held in Poronin, Poland, where we had a number of workshops aiming to discuss the topic of cultural differences and current European problems. During the second event held in Dublin, Ireland we organised team based soccer training activities, where the participants could learn the value of team work, cooperation and communication, but also together brainstorm to how to make the multicultural Europe more integrated. The themes of the project were: Intercultural dialogue and acceptance, education and youth work through sport and outdoor activities, physical and mental health of youngsters, anti-discrimination, inclusion of marginalised youth through sport/outdoor youth work, Erasmus+ programme and European level projects in the youth field using sport/outdoor activities. The project addressed the issues of racism, cultural diversity, mutual understanding, improving competences, healthy lifestyle, self-development, team work and non-formal education.
